I would say disagree. Because I *think* it’s probably something to do with “innocent until proven guilty”. If the court says he’s innocent, then you shouldn’t say he was guilty… maybe it’s about profiling? I’m trying to understand how it’s relevant to your job xD

On gay marriage.

The other day, while researching a paper I’m writing for English, I was trying to find a secular argument against national recognition of gay marriage. One of the only things I was able to sift through was that tax benefits “are in place to help raise children” and the gay couples weren’t serving to “further the race” in any way. Basically, they argued that giving same-sex couples that right wouldn’t be right because they can’t make babies.

Let’s ignore the obvious “infertile woman” argument, the fact that many tax benefits have nothing to do with babies, and the general falseness of that statement for a moment and focus on the slippery slope argument. One argument I’ve heard is that polygamy and incest will be next in line if gay marriage is recognized. But, if we’re supposed to be so gung-ho for furthering the human race, why wouldn’t you be for, say, polygamy. That’s an incredibly efficient way to further the race. One baby every nine months? Try fifteen.
